Trafficking and modern slavery are crimes that can affect anyone. But people are especially at risk if they are vulnerable due to their immigration status, poverty, health issues or disability, or even just their age.

A recent Guardian article highlighted that the group in Britain at the moment that faces the highest risk of trafficking is British boys aged under 18. And sometimes their exploitation and grooming will be dismissed as them just ‘falling in with the wrong crowd’ or making bad choices.

Over the last year or two at Restore, we have started offering training specifically on county lines, the type of trafficking that is most likely to affect teenagers in the UK. You can find out more about it here.
