Since we began as a charity, we’ve been running Spot the Signs training sessions to help people understand what human trafficking really looks like – right here in Glasgow, and across Scotland.

We decided it would be helpful to gather the core information from those sessions into a format that could be shared more widely. That’s why we’ve created a brand new downloadable booklet: What Do I Need To Know About Human Trafficking?

This short, accessible guide introduces the key facts, explains how trafficking can be hidden in plain sight within our communities, and outlines simple steps we can all take to spot and report concerns. It also includes real-life examples of trafficking happening in our city, as well as links to trusted organisations and resources.

We hope this booklet will be a useful starting point for anyone wanting to understand more – and take action.

Please consider sharing the booklet within your networks: whether that’s your workplace, with friends, community groups or online. The more people who understand what to look for, the harder it becomes for traffickers to operate unnoticed.
